I really appreciate the warm wishes and condolences from all of you. I'm feeling less horrible now, but I have to concentrate on finishing the book--which is due Friday and is hard to work on due to all the icky nasty things that happen near the end. I'll come back up for air when I'm done.

*hugs* I lost one of my little guys (gorgeous blonde and tan fellow) to liver cancer my first year of college, and I remember how hard it was to focus on finals. Can't imagine how much trouble focusing on real work must be for you right now.
